Contents. Overview. The Cheater Island consists of a cage hung onto a large palm tree on a grassy island. Under the cage are some text which says PROPERTY OF BADCC, DO NOT FEED ANY CAGE DWELLERS ", revealing that badcc was the one who added the Cheater Island. Previously, there was a wooden sign next to the tree, saying, " In this cage will appear cheaters. Don't be a cheater. " The sign was removed in an unknown update. The island used to be sandy before Roblox grass was added to the game in a later update. Purpose. Previous. The Cheater Island was originally implemented to deal with the increase of exploiting and hacking cases in Jailbreak , mainly due to the game's high popularity and being where exploiters can gain the most progress. If an exploiter was detected by the game's anti-cheat script or manually banned by the game's developers, they would be teleported into the cage and locked in there permanently. Some exploits could remove the loop teleport and teleport the exploiter out, though they could not be able to play the game, but only walk around. If they tried joining another server, they would spawn inside the cage. Since the anti-cheat script could not detect all exploiters automatically, Badimo had created a Jailbreak Exploiter form in the hope of getting help from the community to quickly report exploiters instead of using Roblox 's report abuse option. However, the form was closed due to the addition of display names in Roblox , [1] which made it harder to ban people via video proof. After the cage system was discontinued, when players were banned from the game, if they attempt to join a Jailbreak server, a pop-up would appear reading, " You were kicked from this game.
